Photo print from the original glass negative produced using Museum quality ink and Photo paper. The oak frame is approx. 340 x 280 mm (13 xc 10.25 inches) it has a hook to hang and a foot to free stand.
The mounted print is approx. 305 x 253mm, with the photo size 220 x 168mm. White with a bevelled edge to the mount.


1899 Llandaff. Cardiff Collier. 243 tons. Ran aground - Breakwater/Sir Thomas’ Pit. in ballast from St Malo to Swansea. Crew of 11 saved by rocket apparatus. Much amusement was caused by the coolness of a coloured man who came ashore in the breeches contently munching a piece of cake. She was refloated and towed into the river channel. Finally towed to Cardiff by a Falmouth salvage tug.
